Work-Life Balance and Employee Well-being in Educational Management

Abstract

This paper investigates the significance of work-life balance and its impact on employee well-being within the context of educational management. The study aims to analyze the challenges faced by educational managers in maintaining a healthy equilibrium between their professional and personal lives, and to explore the consequences of an imbalance on their overall well-being. Through a comprehensive literature review and case studies, the paper highlights the relationship between work-life balance practices and the mental, physical, and emotional health of employees in the education sector. It further examines the role of organizational policies, leadership approaches, and individual strategies in fostering a supportive environment that promotes work-life balance. The findings suggest that a conducive work-life balance not only improves employee satisfaction and retention but also enhances the quality of education provided. Recommendations are made for educational institutions to implement effective work-life balance initiatives and for managers to adopt practices that prioritize the well-being of their staff.
